I am currently a member of the Computational Support Team at the Leibniz Supercomputing Center in Garching near Munich, Germany. Before that for ten years I was a scientific staff member at the Computational Center for Particle- and Astrophysics (C2PAP) at the Excellence Cluster Universe, hosted by the Technical
University Munich and the Observatory at the Ludwig Maximilian University. From September 2011 to May 2013 I was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the Bologna University in Bologna, Italy. Until the end of August 2011 I had a position at the the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics in Garching, Germany, where I also obtained my doctor title. I am interested in high-performance scientific computing and numerical cosmology. I have implemented radiative transfer in the cosmological simulation codes Gadget and Arepo, studied the hydrogen reionization of the Universe, and worked with Ben Metcalf on the gravitational lensing code GLAMER.
